Sunday, March 27th, 2011An old friend of mine is a graphic designer in the Communications Dept at Colgate University. She called me up to do some illustrations for an internal publication called The Scene that Colgate produces for alumni, current student, prospective students, and friends. The article was on faculty summer reads. Many thanks to Ms. Mutz, Rebecca and Gerry!

Some of these images are simple / straightforward, while others are much more interesting / fun. You can see a few changes were made from sketch to final.








Book project practice
Wednesday, March 23rd, 2011Hello, all ( seven of you).
Slowly moving forward with the book project. Goal #1 is to start with taking one image from the book to a level of completion. Haven’t quite decided how to go about it. I probably should figure that out.
