It was a pleasure to read and create an accompanying illustration for Rachael Maddux’s essay, Forever Young.   Thanks to Rachael for revisiting two important and powerful books for readers, young and old.  Thank you to Kevin Nguyen at The Oyster Review for the assignment.oyster_page_doug_salati

Metropolitan Opera Tour

February 21, 2014

I love going to Lincoln Center. It makes me feel like a real New Yorker. It also makes me think of first dates and Cher and big hair. Our behind-the-scenes tour guide was Jerry, a judge from New Jersey who specializes in divorces and foreclosures.
